Marie began a career in real estate by accident! After graduating from USF with a degree in Business Management and Marketing, she was originally hired by a real estate office to provide marketing and support services for the company. The Broker quickly recognized that Marie would be a natural at helping people to realize their dream of homeownership. With some persuasion, Marie jumped in with both feet to obtain her real estate license. Purchasing a home is one of the most important decisions you can make. Marie takes this responsibility seriously and consistently delivers professional services to both buyers and sellers. Marie McLaughlin is an independent BROKER-Associate with CENTURY 21® Alliance Realty. She began her career in real estate in 2003 as a licensed REALTOR®, but didn’t stop there. Her commitment to education and perfecting her craft drove her to obtain her GRI (Graduate Realtor® Institute) Designation in 2004, her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) Designation in 2005, her Brokers license in 2006, and then her Instructor license in 2007.

Marie is a member of the Hernando County Association of REALTORS®, West Pasco Board of REALTORS®, Florida REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®, Greater Hernando Chamber of Commerce. She is also a Notary Public/Notary Signing Agent which requires yearly background checks and continuing education.

Marie was born in Brooklyn, NY, moved to Margate, FL in 1969. In 1976, she relocated to the Pasco-Hernando area. Before she began her career in real estate, Marie graduated from PHSC (Pasco-Hernando State College) in 1998 and earned her degree in Accounting and Business Management. She then went on to major in Business Management and Marketing at USF (University of South Florida).

As a single parent, Marie raised her daughter in Hudson while working in various aspects of the construction and restaurant industries. Her background includes customer service, management, marketing and accounting. Marie has been a local friend and neighbor ever since, so you know she’s the expert on the hot spots, shopping, and where to find the best dinner, entertainment, and sunsets!
